Gil Martin Saura (Executive Director)

Gil is a seasoned professional with a diverse and impressive career in the field of information technology and biology.  He served as the Head of Information Technology at Asian Rehabilitation Services in Los Angeles, a non-profit 501(C3) organization for a span of six years, from 2001 to 2007, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and technical expertise. Following his tenure in the IT sector, he transitioned into the realm of biology, where he embarked on a fulfilling journey as a County Biologist in the Los Angeles County Department of Agricultural Weights and Measures.  His contributions as a County Biologist spanned 15 years, from 2007 to 2022, during which he played a pivotal role in safeguarding agricultural standards and environmental sustainability within Los Angeles County.  Gil’s educational background is anchored in a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. However, his thirst for knowledge didn't stop there. He pursued a variety of I.T. technical training programs.  In addition to his extensive training, Gil holds a remarkable array of certifications, including Microsoft Certified Professional (1999), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows NT/2000), Intel Certified Systems Integration Specialist (2000), CompTIA Server+ Certified Professional (2000), and Veritas Certified Storage Management Professional.  These certifications are a testament to his dedication to staying at the forefront of technology and his commitment to excellence in his field.  Throughout his career, he has exemplified a strong work ethic, a passion for technology, and a deep commitment to the agricultural and environmental welfare of Los Angeles County.  His journey from IT leadership to a distinguished County Biologist is a testament to his adaptability, expertise, and unwavering dedication to making a positive impact in both the technological and biological realms.

Farley Legaspi (Board Treasurer)

Farley has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Management and a Master of Business Administration in Project Management.  Farley is a dedicated and resilient individual whose life journey has been marked by unwavering commitment to duty and service. Born in the Philippines, Farley embarked on a remarkable path when he enlisted in the United States Army in February 2006.  This decision would lead him to a transformative period of his life.  Farley served his country with honor and distinction during a deployment to Bagdad, Iraq.  During this time, he held the crucial roles of a supply specialist and armorer, ensuring that essential equipment and supplies reached the frontlines, contributing significantly to the mission's success.  His dedication to maintaining and safeguarding the weaponry of his fellow soldiers was a testament to his meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to their safety. Farley's commitment to the principles of service and sacrifice extends beyond his military service.  He is a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) organization, exemplifying his enduring dedication to the welfare of veterans.  This affiliation demonstrates his ongoing commitment to providing support, advocacy, and camaraderie to those who have bravely served their nation. In both his military service and his involvement with veterans' organizations, Farley stands as a shining example of selflessness, integrity, and dedication. Rolly Dumlao (Board Secretary)

With a background in law enforcement, Rolly brings a unique perspective and skill set to his role. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology and has an extensive 15-year career with the Philippine National Police. Throughout his time with the police force, Rolly developed a deep sense of compassion and a desire to support marginalized communities, particularly those who have served their country. Transitioning into his role, he brings a wealth of experience in organization, management, and a strong dedication to improving the lives of others. Rolly's leadership is marked by his commitment to empowering disabled veterans through access to technology. Under his direction, the organization has expanded its reach and impact, providing vital resources to those who have sacrificed for their country. His tireless efforts and passion for serving others make him an invaluable asset to both the foundation and the veteran community.
